Saddle Fitting Service

A)  Purchasing from our mobile service.

There will be a charge of £50.00 for the saddle fitting consultation, templates for future use and travel expenses.  If a new saddle has to be ordered then a 50%  deposit will be taken on the day.  This  is non-refundable should you change your mind about having the saddle.

You can also bring your horse over to Tack Farm Event Centre in Herefordshire where we have full facilities it is £20 to hire the arena for an hour with full course of jumps if required.

B)  Purchasing Online

All saddles can be purchased from Sports Horse Services either via secure online methods, or over the phone. We do however advise that you contact us by phone prior to ordering a saddle so that we can ensure that you are purchasing the correct saddle for your needs.

All saddles must be paid for in full. Sports Horse Servies appreciate that you need to ensure a correct fit but we ask that you do this  with a thin cloth and only lightly girth the saddle up. If it does not fit the  saddle must be returned within 7 days and there will be a minimal charge of  £25.00 for handling with exception of the postage.

IF THE SADDLE HAS BEEN SOILED OR RIDDEN ON YOU WILL  WITHOUT EXCEPTION BE SUBJECT TO A MINIMUM 10% CHARGE OF THE VALUE OF THE  SADDLE.

If you buy a saddle online or over the phone it is upto you to ensure the fit is correct. I suggest you get a local saddle fitter out to check the fit BEFORE you use it. If there is any doubt on fit at that time please contact me immediately.

Saddle Fitting Experience and Qualifications!

I am fully trained in saddle fitting by Prestige and attended their course in Italy several years ago and hold their certificate.

Attended Prestige Italia saddle convention 2009 ,held in Italy.

I was the resident saddle fitter for John Whitaker International Ltd whilst working for them and still am an official John Whitaker saddle fitter.

I am Qualified in Equine Sports Massage so I can work in conjunction with Vets when doing remedial saddle fitting .

I have attended the Master Saddlers  introductory saddle fitting course (this is not a qualification)

2011 Committed to ongoing training towards, saddle fitting, saddle making and equine massage - level II body worker!
